With a foundation in journalism and more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience in a variety of industries, Laura has dedicated her career to crafting strategic marketing and communications campaigns that touch lives and achieve goals.
That journey has taken her down many paths, from healthcare to higher ed, social services to small business, and even a literal zoo (where she once spent an entire night in a pumpkin patch in the line of duty – ask her about it).
Her work includes award-winning campaigns, publications, websites, and content. But her greatest strength is her ability to build brands, understand consumers, and create opportunities where relationships between the two can flourish, for the betterment of both.
Laura is a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®) and Certified Digital Marketing Professional. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island, where she also studied Public Relations and Political Science. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and the New England Society for Healthcare Communications and has served on a number of community organizations, including as a board member for Northeast Opportunities for Wellness and as a corporator for Day Kimball Healthcare.
She is also a mother to three teenage girls, the raising of whom she will always regard as her biggest challenge and greatest accomplishment.
